This Warranty ensures that the Products supplied by LEDNIX are free from manufacturing and material defects during the applicable Warranty period, which will be from three to five years, according to the reference indicated in the catalog.

This Warranty will cover defects arising from failures, breakdowns or breakage of components, as well as those originating during the manufacturing process, provided that such defects prevent the product from functioning in accordance with the specifications and technical characteristics provided by LEDNIX through the corresponding technical documentation.

2). The established warranty period will take effect on the date the product is invoiced. If different or additional warranty conditions apply, LEDNIX will expressly communicate them to the Customer in accordance with the previously agreed terms.

3). This Warranty will only be valid if the supplied Products have been stored and installed in accordance with their technical specifications.

For validity purposes, both storage and installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.

4). The exercise of the Guarantee will always be subject to the Client’s compliance with all payment obligations under the agreed terms and conditions.

5). To qualify for the Warranty conditions, the Customer must notify in writing any alleged irregularities or incidents of the Product within the established Warranty period and subject to the following conditions:
*1. The warranty extension is subject to prior consultation and approval by LEDNIX.

5.1). The Customer shall make available to LEDNIX the records and operating history and related data of the Product such as:

5.1.1). Product Reference and Name.

5.1.2). Date of failure, units with faults and defect (alleged) of the Product.

5.1.3). Product invoice number and installation date.

5.1.4). Product location and application details, with actual power-on time and number of switching cycles.

5.2). The Customer will provide the LEDNIX representative with on-site access to the Product for which the Customer is covered by this Standard Warranty and, upon request, will send any alleged defective Product to LEDNIX for analysis.

5.3). The Customer must obtain LEDNIX’s consent to carry out the relevant tests and determine if there is any defect in the Product.

5.4). Any claim relating to a warranty claim must be filed within six months from the date of notification of the claim.

6). LEDNIX’s obligations under the Warranty will be limited at LEDNIX’s discretion.

In the event that LEDNIX recognizes the existence of an incident/defect, it may choose to replace the product or its components with new or refurbished ones, taking into account the technical evolution of the product.

While the warranty issue is being resolved technically, the customer must pay the cost of the repair or replacement. Once the technical service has completed its evaluation and confirmed the warranty coverage, this amount will be refunded to the customer.

All replaced products and components will become the property of LEDNIX.

In the event of other customer needs, LEDNIX may repair the product or send replacement parts for the customer to resolve the issue. The customer will be responsible for the costs of labor and parts. Repairs or replacements will not extend or renew the warranty period. LEDNIX reserves the right to replace defective products covered by the warranty with other products that have minor differences in design or performance, which do not affect the product’s functionality. The customer will be responsible for shipping costs and any other costs arising from products whose defect is not attributable to LEDNIX or that have been tampered with by the customer.

7). The dismantling, removal, replacement, or removal of the Product and other installation elements, such as structures, cranes, scaffolding, etc., carried out by the Customer are not covered by the established Warranty. The Customer will be responsible for and bear the costs of these activities, including access costs for corrective warranty measures by LEDNIX.

8). LEDNIX will be exempt from any obligation arising from this Warranty if it determines that the defect has occurred due to any of the following causes:

8.1). Electrical supply conditions, including but not limited to: power outages, voltage drops, voltage surges, excessive presence of harmonics, excessive temperature resulting from insufficient ventilation – current ripple control systems that exceed the specified limits of the Products, as well as those established in the supply regulations applicable to the Product.

8.2). Incorrect wiring, installation, configuration change or maintenance of the Products or other electrical components such as incompatible controllers or devices.

8.3). Failure to comply with the instructions and operations for installation, use, maintenance or applications and/or environmental conditions, defined by LEDNIX or any other document supplied with the Products or applicable safety, industry or electrical standards.

8.4). Use of the Products for purposes other than those for which they were designed.

8.5). Exposure of the Products to corrosive environments, excessive wear, lack of care or maintenance, accident, abuse, incorrect, inadequate or abnormal use of the Products.

8.6). Alteration, manipulation, modification or attempted repair of the Product not authorized in writing by LEDNIX.

8.7). Use of LED products without respecting the application instructions relating to potential pollution (VOIC) or cleaning.

8.8). Any force majeure event, understanding this as any circumstance or incident beyond the reasonable control of LEDNIX.

9). This Warranty, together with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, and other applicable terms and conditions, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties in relation to the warranty of the Products that present an issue and prevails over any statement, representation or communication, whether oral or written, made previously.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the warranties expressly set forth herein are the only warranties given by LEDNIX with respect to the products sold.

The Customer shall not rely on any other information, from LEDNIX or other sources, or on facts of general knowledge (of the industry), in relation to the Products or their useful life.

The sole and exclusive remedy for the Customer in relation to any defect in the Products will be solely and exclusively that expressly provided for in this Warranty.

10). LEDNIX reserves the right to modify this Warranty at any time. Any modification will take effect for all orders placed from the date the modification takes effect.

11). For professional indoor or outdoor products, the following provisions shall apply:

The Warranty Period is established on the basis of a maximum of 5000 hours of operation per year.

The warranty will be valid for products subjected to an ambient temperature between -15°C and +40°C unless otherwise specified in the catalog.

The product will only be considered defective when it fails if 10% or more of the LED components that make it up are faulty.

If the installed luminaires are exposed to a risk of corrosion, the warranty will only apply if the Customer has previously purchased the Product with the Marine Environment paint option. By way of example and not limitation, the following will be considered installations exposed to a risk of corrosion:

Facilities located less than 10 km from the coast.

Installations located in tunnels or tracks where the use of salt is required, for example, during winter periods with the presence of snow or ice.

Facilities located in environments with high humidity levels.

12). The durability and performance of LEDs will not be guaranteed if their installation is carried out in environments or settings that contain or are found to contain substances or chemicals incompatible with the specifications and operating standards applicable to LEDs.

The LEDNIX Technical Department is available to the Customer to verify LED compatibility in relation to the substances present at the luminaire installation site.

13). For multi-source LED luminaires, the Product will only be considered defective when the percentage of LEDs out of service exceeds 10% of the total, since, if it is lower, the performance of the Product is not considered substantially modified.

14). The depreciation of luminous flux is an expected phenomenon during the lifetime of the LED and, therefore, is not covered by the Warranty.

CASES IN WHICH THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

Without prejudice to any of the other exclusions provided for in this Warranty, it shall not apply in those cases where the damages, defects or incidents of the Product originate from any of the circumstances detailed below:

Damages caused by the Client or third parties acting on behalf of the Client.

Damage caused by accident.

Damages resulting from non-compliance with the instructions included in the manual, technical documentation or installation and assembly instructions provided by LEDNIX.

Repairs, manipulations or interventions carried out by the Client or by a third party not authorized by LEDNIX.

Damage that does not affect the proper functioning of the Product (bumps, scratches, paint defects, etc.).

Installation in the Products of control and regulation systems that are not compatible with the Products.

Damages resulting from robbery, theft or attempted robbery or theft.

Damage to accessories, consumables or computer applications purchased separately or used together with the Product, including but not limited to batteries, software.

Damage to fire protection elements belonging to the system of which the Product is a part.

Damage to accessories purchased after the purchase of the Product.

Damages covered by insurance policies.

Expenses arising from the removal, disposal or final management of the defective Product.

Damages resulting from uses not foreseen in the technical specifications of the Product or incompatible with the purpose intended for it.

Damage caused by subsequent modifications to the Product (e.g. assembly of emergency light components, replacement of electronic drivers, etc.).
*2. If the maximum ambient temperature differs from this value, it will be indicated on the Product label in the Product delivery box.

Damage caused by cleaning the Product using substances, products or agents that are unsuitable and/or aggressive to the components.

This Warranty sets out the terms and conditions applicable to the sale of professional indoor and outdoor lighting products by LEDNIX.
